Author Guidelines
1- The Human Capital Intelligent Management (HCIM) journal accepts for review only those manuscripts that are original, derived from academic research, and have not been previously published or simultaneously submitted to another journal—whether domestic or international—or to any academic conferences or proceedings.
Note 1: Manuscripts derived from conference presentations may be considered provided that only the abstract was published, and full bibliographic details of the event are clearly stated.
Note 2: Review articles are accepted from experienced researchers with a strong track record of scholarly publications in the relevant field, provided the manuscript draws upon a wide range of credible and substantial sources.
2- The official language of publication is Persian; however, manuscripts written in English may also be considered for review.
3- Manuscripts must be well written, fluent, and free from grammatical or linguistic errors.
4- During the submission process, the full academic profiles of all authors must be uploaded as a separate document. This file should list the authors in the correct order and identify the corresponding author. Please note that the names and order of authors as submitted in this file will be final and cannot be changed after acceptance.
The author profile file must include the following:
Full title of the manuscript in both Persian and English
Full names of all authors in both Persian and English (the corresponding author should be marked with an asterisk)
Academic degrees, academic ranks, and institutional affiliations in both Persian and English
Complete contact information for the corresponding author in both languages, including postal address, phone number, fax (if available), and email address
Name of the funding agency or institution (if applicable)
5- Manuscripts must be prepared using A5 paper size (17 × 24 cm), with 2 cm margins on all sides, single line spacing, and composed in Microsoft Word 2003 or later. Use B Nazanin 13 pt font for Persian text and Times New Roman 11 pt for English text. The total length of the manuscript—including text, figures, tables, and diagrams—should not exceed 25 pages. For further formatting details, refer to the journal’s “Manuscript Preparation Guide.”
6- The main manuscript file (excluding author details) should be structured as follows:
First Page:
Full title of the article in Persian
Persian abstract (maximum 250 words), briefly covering the topic, research objectives, population/sample, methodology, data collection tools, data analysis methods, and key findings
3 to 5 Persian keywords
Second Page:
Full title of the article in English
English abstract: Authors are strongly advised to provide a well-structured and professionally translated abstract (maximum 250 words) and an extended structured abstract of no less than 550 words. As the journal aims for indexing in international citation databases, reliance on automatic translation tools (e.g., Google Translate) is discouraged.
3 to 5 English keywords
Subsequent Pages:
The body of the article should be organized into six main sections: Introduction, Theoretical Framework and Literature Review, Research Methodology, Data Analysis and Findings, Conclusion and Recommendations and References.
7- Introduction: This section should cover the following in approximately 2.5 pages:
Overview and background of the study
Research problem
Importance and necessity of the study
Research gap and originality
Research objectives and main research question
8- Theoretical Framework and Literature Review:
Define and discuss key concepts and their interrelations
Review and synthesize relevant domestic and international literature
Use clear and accurate Persian equivalents for foreign terms, and provide full definitions of any abbreviations used as footnotes
Limit the section to 5–7 pages
9- Research Methodology:
Describe the research design, implementation process, population and sample, sampling method, data collection instruments, validity and reliability measures, and data analysis techniques.
10- Data Analysis and Findings:
Present both qualitative and quantitative findings. Authors must recreate figures and statistical models manually using Word or Visio (rather than using software-generated outputs). All numerical data in tables should be presented in Persian.
11- Conclusion and Recommendations:
Interpret the research findings, offer practical recommendations, and suggest directions for future research.
12- References:
All sources must be cited using APA (7th Edition) style. Persian-language sources must be transliterated into English, followed by “[in Persian]” at the end of the citation.
13- Manuscripts derived from theses or dissertations must include the names of the student, supervisor, and advisors. The supervisor will be considered the corresponding author and hold full responsibility for the manuscript.
The method of in-text citation in the article should be carried out as follows:
a. In-text citation must follow the APA (American Psychological Association) style. In this method, after quoting content in the article, the author’s last name and the year of publication should be mentioned inside parentheses. In this case, English sources must be written in English. For example: (Golshahi, 1397) or (Golshahi, 2019).
b. If the source is a book or a thesis, the page number used must also be written after the year. For example: (Homan, 1378: 16) or (Golman, 2004: 87).
c. If the source is cited within the sentence as a direct quotation, it should be presented in this manner: last name (year). For example: Golshahi (1397) stated that … . In in-sentence quotations, English sources must be written in Persian, and their names must be footnoted the first time they appear in the article. For instance: Golman (2004) has stated that … . In all other cases, the citation should follow section (b).
14- The HCIM journal reserves the right to accept, reject, or edit all submitted manuscripts. Manuscripts will not be returned to the authors.
15- Rejected or withdrawn manuscripts will be removed from the journal's archive after three months. The journal assumes no responsibility for such manuscripts after this period.
Note: No fees are charged at any stage of the submission or publication process. This policy is designed to support and encourage scholarly contributions.
