All submissions to the Human Capital Intelligent Management (HCIM) Journal undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review to ensure the academic integrity, methodological soundness, and originality of the research.
Once a manuscript is submitted through the online journal management system, it undergoes an initial technical and formatting review by the journal staff to ensure compliance with the journal's Author Guidelines and manuscript preparation standards. This stage typically takes no more than one week.
Authors are strongly advised to review the Author Guidelines carefully and ensure that their manuscript is formatted precisely in accordance with the journal’s requirements before submission.
If the manuscript meets the required formatting and structural criteria, it is forwarded to the Editor-in-Chief for a preliminary assessment of relevance and academic merit.
Upon registration of the manuscript, the corresponding author will receive a formal acknowledgment via email, including the manuscript ID and the name and contact information of the handling scientific editor. From this point onward, all communication regarding the manuscript’s progress should be directed solely to the Editor-in-Chief.
Following editorial approval, the manuscript is submitted to at least two independent expert reviewers under the double-blind system, meaning that both authors and reviewers remain anonymous to each other.
Reviewers are expected to complete their evaluations within approximately four weeks, though timelines may vary depending on the availability and responsiveness of reviewers.
Based on the reviewers' recommendations, the editorial decision will fall into one of the following categories:
Accept without revision
Minor revision required
Major revision required
Reject
If revisions are requested, the authors will be invited to revise their manuscript in light of the reviewers’ and editors’ comments. The revised manuscript may then undergo a second round of peer review to ensure the revisions are satisfactory.
Upon final acceptance, authors must submit the final version of the manuscript in editable formats (i.e., Microsoft Word; PDF files are not accepted for publication). Once the manuscript is ready for production, the authors will be notified regarding the expected publication schedule.
